Little Crickets Nursery provides an outstanding environment for children to thrive.  We believe a happy child develops confidence and resilience and can work and play with others.  Little Crickets Nursery children are nurtured and inspired by teachers who deliver outstanding learning experiences. 

Our aim is to nurture your child's natural curiosity and love of learning. We encourage them to become confident, well-rounded individuals who are kind and caring towards others. We believe every child is unique and we're dedicated to helping them discover and develop their special talents through a rich curriculum that focuses a balance of adult-led and child-led activities.  Our adult-led aim is to introduce and teach skills, ideas and concepts to children,  whether that is through a space theme exploring music from Holst's The Planets or exploring Van Gogh's Starry Skies painting.  In child-led activities, children are encouraged to explore their own interests and creativity, whether in role-play or investigations in the natural world or through exploring maths through games and provocations. 

We support children to take risks in their learning and become proud of their achievements. 

We provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment where children feel happy and valued. We also make learning fun and exciting, filling their days with stimulating activities and rich experiences that spark their imaginations and inspire them to grow.

We need confident, caring, intelligent and independent young adults, ready to take on the challenges of the world.
