My child has gained so much confidence, the care and communication with the nursery is excellent.
Our specially designed nursery provides children from 2 years upwards with an environment which is secure, bright, happy and stimulating. The nursery is led by a Norland trained, qualified teacher who is supported by qualified practitioners. Being in beautiful Beckington, just minutes from Frome, means we have access to a world beyond the nursery and school gardens – our wildlife area, our stunning field with learning walks around the village to see the smallholding and castle grounds - all within easy reach and are very much part of our routines. Our Nursery is open all year round from 8am to 6pm, part-time hours are available.
Little Crickets Nursery is part of Springmead Preparatory School, an independent school for children aged 4 to 11 years. In their latest inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), we are proud that Springmead achieved the highest possible rating of a double 'Excellent'. In October 2024 Little Crickets Nursery was awarded the prestigious ISA Award for Excellence and Innovation in Early Years due to our pioneering work with filmmaking with young children.
