Nursery Welcomes 2 Year Olds
Exciting plans to expand and refurbish Little Crickets Frome have been announced this summer, extending the age range of Springmead School from 2 to 11 to help support working parents.
Little Crickets Frome is excited to announce that it will be opening its doors to children from the age of two this coming September, extending the age range for the school from 2 to 11. The move comes following an increased demand for nursery places across the community, a picture which is reflected nationally as more childcare funding options for working parents are being offered.
Children have traditionally been welcomed into the nursery from the age of three, which helps with a seamless transition to Reception year at Springmead School when the time comes. Knowledgeable nursery practitioners support the children's learning through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, and the nursery also benefits from having Norland Nanny accredited staff members alongside its other experienced practitioners.
While nursery children enjoy their dedicated spaces, Little Crickets Frome benefits hugely from being on site at Springmead School as the children become familiar with the older children and shared spaces around the school. What's more, the nursery is set for a revamp this summer with a new outdoor space, new flooring and redecoration, along with improved changing facilities.
During term time, the nursery welcomes babies and toddlers for its weekly Baby Explore! sessions, which are open to parents and families and are free of charge. If you'd like more information about admissions at Little Crickets Frome, make an enquiry.
